The National FLES* Institute (K-12) has as its mission both
information and advocacy for all types of FLES* programs (Sequential FLES,
Sequential FLEX, Exploratory and Immersion) for the teaching of foreign
(world) languages in the elementary schools, in the context of effective
K-12 foreign language programs. The National FLES* Institute keeps up-to-date information about FLES* programs, and provides responses to teachers, parents, administrators, and school board members concerning all kinds of FLES*/K-12 issues. Presentations/workshops ON-SITE, for teachers, parents, administrators and school board members can be arranged. Publications include short "Infosheets," a FLES* Promotion/Advocacy kit, reprints of professional articles, brochures, bumper stickers, etc. |
